Many have tried and failed in their attempts to recreate the cry Iceland patented during the European Championship finals in France last year.
The famous war chant was a proper hit during the EURO 2016, but its popularity moved far away from Europe’s boundaries and all the way to Iran.
Iran have secured a 1-0 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying win over China yesterday, when fully packed Azadi Stadium produced a stunning rendition of that glorious chant.
