Spanish daily newspaper Marca can reveal that Real Madrid midfielder Isco has agreed to sign a new deal with the club.
The attacking midfielder, whose current deal is set to expire in June 2018, will sign a new five-year deal with los Blancos until June 2022.
The agreement was reached last week and Isco will soon see his yearly salary doubled to €6 million per campaign.
This is definitely great news for Real Madrid fans as well as the club officials as Isco was believed to be pondering a summer exit until recently.
His father and agent met with representatives of Manchester City, Liverpool and Juventus, but a lot has changed since.
Isco demonstrated his importance to the club with several outstanding performances and even though he is still not regarded a first team regular, there is every chance the 25-year-old will soon become one, especially if he continues the rich vein of form.
