Spanish daily newspaper AS claims that attacking midfielder Isco will soon extend his contract at Santiago Bernabeu.
Struggling for playing time and with just over a year left on his current deal, the Spain international was believed to be considering his options, but he seems to have managed to improve his status in the squad.
Several very good performances capped with an excellent goal against Malaga appears to have persuaded head coach Zinedine Zidane to give Isco more first team opportunities and the player himself is reportedly happy to stay.
The two parties are very close to reaching an agreement over a new deal for the 24-year-old footballer, who appears to be in the form of his life.
Despite starting just 14 league games this term, Isco already has 7 goals and 5 assists to his name, and he is back to being an important player for los Blancos.
Real Madrid are still in the La Liga driving seat and can be backed at 4/11 favourites to go all the way.
