Real Madrid’s Isco Alarcon is keen to leave the Spanish capital and reconnect with former boss Carlo Ancelotti and former teammate James Rodriguez at Everton, according to the Mirror.
The midfielder has fallen far behind his competition in the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane. He has recently been linked with a swap deal through which both he and winger Vinicius Junior would go to Juventus in exchange for Paulo Dybala, but while the media in Italy hold to that story, those in England talk about the player himself favouring a move to the current Premier League leaders.
Everton had a very busy summer, signing Allan from Napoli and Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford, on top of James Rodriguez from Real, and having revamped their midfield section completely in that way, they now top the Premier League after six rounds.
Real would apparently like to send Isco out on loan for the second half of the season, with and obligation to buy set at £18 million (€20m) plus add-ons.
