Fiorentina are pondering loan swoop for Inter Milan forward Ishak Belfodil, La Nazione has revealed.
Viola found themselves in all sorts of problems after striker Mario Gomez picked up a serious injury and boss Vincenzo Montella is, therefore, determined to add another attacker to his ranks in the winter.
La Nazione has suggested that Fiorentina will attempt to sign Algerian forward Ishak Belfodil on a six-month loan.
Belfodil joined Inter Milan this summer from Parma in a swap deal that saw Antonio Cassano move to Ennio Tardini.
However, the 21-year-old has had a disappointing start to his career at Giuseppe Meazza, having made just two league appearances so far.
Inter boss Walter Mazzarri is prepared to allow the player to leave on loan in January, especially with Diego Milito having returned from injury.
Prior to joining the Nerazzurri, Belfodil had scored 8 goals in 33 Serie A matches for Parma.
