El Mundo Deportivo understands that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Toulouse defender Issa Diop.
It is no secret that the Catalans aim to further rejuvenate their back line following the arrivals of Samuel Umtiti and Yerry Mina, and the 21-year-old is one of the first names on their hit-list.
Barcelona scouts have been following Diop’s performances in French Ligue 1 this season and they see him as a potential signing for the future.
The talented centre-back already has 72 top-flight outings to his name and he did well to score 5 goals in the process.
Diop has represented France at various youth levels and he is currently a member of the Under-21 team.
