A number of Italy’s top sides are showing interest in Manchester United full-back Alexander Buttner, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Dutch defender does not seem to be in the first team plans of David Moyes and he looks set to leave Old Trafford this month.
Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Roma, Milan and Genoa are all keen on the 24-year-old footballer.
And while the Giallorossi are looking to sign a back-up for Federico Balzaretti, the Rossoneri are desperately short of options on the left flank and Buttner is one of the players they are looking at.
Alexander Buttner joined Manchester United in the summer of 2012 from Vitesse, and he showed a lot of promise in his first season at the club, making a total of 13 competitive appearances and scoring 2 Premier League goals.
However, he has only been used sparingly this season, with David Moyes clearly unimpressed by his skills.
