Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that Juventus, Roma and Sampdoria are showing interest in River Plate defender Eder Balanta.
And while the Bluecerchiati are also keen, chances are that the two title rivals will be locked in the battle for the player’s signature.
Roma have beaten Juventus to Juan Iturbe, Kostas Manolas and Davide Astori, while the Bianconeri enjoyed a controversial victory in Serie A last weekend.
The two clubs are expected to continue to vie on all fronts, with Eder Balanta likely to become the subject of a real bidding war.
River Plate are ready to cash in on their star player and they are believed to be looking to receive between €6m and €7m.
Eder Balanta has shown a great deal of potential since arriving at Monumental from Academica, making 38 league starts for the Argentine giants, although he has failed to make a single appearance for his team after returning from the 2014 World Cup.
