A host of Italy’s top clubs are showing interest in Cesena midfielder Stefano Sensi, La Gazzetta dello Sport can reveal.
The 20-year-old has progressed a great deal during a loan spell with Lega Pro side San Marino Calcio, and he has clearly benefited from regular exposure to first team football.
As a result, the central midfielder nailed down a regular starting berth quickly upon returning to Cesena, and his performances in Serie B have been so impressive that he has already caught the eye of quite a few Serie A sides.
Atalanta, Genoa and Napoli were the first to show interest in the talented footballer, but the latest reports suggest that Juventus and AC Milan have moved to the front of the queue.
Having earned €12 million for Marco Verratti a couple of years back, Pescara hope for another major windfall and it is clear Sensi will not be available on the cheap.
