A host of Italy’s top clubs are showing interest in Hamburg midfielder Milan Badelj, according to Sport Bild.
The Croatian footballer has been one of star performers during a very difficult season for the club and it looks as though he might leave the sinking ship come end of the campaign.
German daily Sport Bild has learned that the likes of Napoli, Fiorentina and Inter Milan are all keeping close tabs on his services.
The player’s agent Branko Panic has moved to confirm those reports, while also citing interest from English Premier League.
“That’s true. Also, a Bundesliga club and English clubs have made inquiries,” Panic told Sport Bild.
Milan Badelj joined HSV from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2012 and has since featured in 53 Bundesliga matches and scored 2 goals in total.
He has, however, failed to nail down a regular starting berth in the national team and has only made three appearances during Croatia’s 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.
