Competition: World Cup
Market: Italy to win against Costa Rica
Odds: 1/2 @ Coral

Italy will be on the cusp of qualification if they can get a win against Costa Rica in tonight’s Group D clash. Cesare Prandelli’s side won their opening group game 2-1 against England and are now in touching distance of the next round providing they can get a result against their South American opponents.

Costa Rica could do with a victory too as they also have three points from their first game. A win, while a shock, would see them top of the pack with a tie against bottom-of-the-table England to come.

Italian striker Mario Balotelli scored in the first game of the World Cup campaign and he’ll be hoping to net again. The likes of midfielder Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio and the industrious Antonio Candreva will be pivotal to Italy’s chances.

Coral are giving odds of 1/2 for the Italians to get all three points tonight. But they won’t have it all their own way, with the Costa Ricans boasting a lot of talent in attack. Joel Campbell of Arsenal will be one to watch, while former Fulham winger Bryan Ruiz is another player who can be deadly if not treated properly.
