(GSM) – No goals were scored at the international friendly between World Champions Italy and Cameroon on Wednesday.
The two sides faced at Monaco’s Stade Louis II, where Italy hoped to boost their confidence with a good result against their African opponents.
But neither side made a difference in the game, which as such ended in a 0-0 result.
The Azzurri scored only one goal in their last three friendlies, a fact that will certainly put pressure on the Italian strike-force.
Italy begin their title defense against Paraguay on June 14, and face New Zealand and Slovakia in the following matches. Cameroon play their opener against Japan, after which the Africans meet with Denmark and the Netherlands.
