Since appointing Antonio Conte to lead their team in November last year, Tottenham Hotspur have made a lot of signings, and as things stand, the changes to their team have been producing results.

Nonetheless, there have been examples of clubs spending a lot of money in the transfer market for years and failing, season after season, to reach the goals they set for themselves. Therefore, Conte insists it’s not just about spending, but about knowing how to spend as well.
