FC Porto forward Juan Manuel Iturbe has admitted he would be interested in joining Italian giants Juventus.
The Argentine youngster has been in stunning form since joining Hellas Verona on loan in the summer, which has led to speculations linking him with AS Roma and Juventus.
Iturbe may still be owned by Porto, but the Gialloblu have the option to sign him outright in the summer, and they are likely to exercise the clause before selling him on to one of Italy’s top clubs.
And it would appear as though Juventus are the favourites for the player’s signature as he is apparently keen on joining the Bianconeri.
“I don’t know anything about my future at this point,” Iturbe confessed to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “For a player with my characteristics, the Italian and Spanish leagues are the best ones.
“Juventus are the strongest team around in Italy. Who wouldn’t want to play for them?”
Juan Manuel Iturbe, 20, has played an important role in helping Hellas Verona climb to sixth in the Serie A standings, having scored 5 goals in 19 league outings for the Gialloblu.
