FC Porto defender Ivan Marcano is on the verge of joining Valencia, according to reports in Portugal.
The 30-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and he has already decided to look for a new challenge.
After spending last four years at Estadio do Dragao, Marcano looks set to return to Spanish La Liga as he has reportedly agreed a deal with Valencia.
Even though Sevilla and AC Milan were also keen, los Che appear to have won the chase, offering the experienced centre-back a significant pay rise.
Ivan Marcano has largely impressed while representing FC Porto in Portugal and Europe, scoring 11 goals in addition to putting in some very good defensive showings.
