Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Inter Milan are set to secure the signature of Wolfsburg winger Ivan Perisic.
The two sides have been trying to negotiate a deal over the past couple of weeks and the latest reports suggest the transfer should be completed on Tuesday.
Inter officials will wait for Xherdan Shaqiri to complete his move to Schalke before wrapping up the deal for Perisic, with the Switerland star rejecting an offer from Stoke and set to commit his future to the Miners.
Ivan Perisic, 26, joined Wolfsburg from Borussia Dortmund in January 2013 and he has been performing admirably at the Volkswagen Arena.
The Croatia star made a total of 84 competitive appearances for the Wolves, scoring 20 goals and producing another 16 assists.
Perisic has been in excellent form since the start of the Euro 2016 qualifiers, notching four goals in five appearances for the national team.
