Ivanovic unlikely to leave Chelsea

FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti says it is unlikely that Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic will join Fiorentina.

Bronzetti does not believe that Chelsea boss Phil Scolari is willing to let Ivanovic leave the club.

“Putting pen to paper is the most important part,” said Bronzetti on Radio Blu.

“I don’t think Chelsea will sell Ivanovic. The information I have is that Milan requested him some time ago and were not granted the move.

“It is possible that [Fiorentina director Pantaleo] Corvino could get hold of him, as he is certainly good enough to work such a deal.

“But I can guarantee that even if Ivanovic doesn’t play much because he is behind two stars like John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho, [Felipe] Scolari has no intention of losing him.

“Unless Chelsea’s transfer plans for the defence have changed radically, I doubt he’ll leave.”
