Ivica Olic drops Lazio hint

Bayern Munich forward Ivica Olic has hinted that he could join Lazio in January.

The Croatian international is unhappy with his status at Alianz Arena and is looking to leave the club in search of first team football.

“I intend to leave Bayern in January,” Olic told Tuttosport. “I’m no longer in the plans of the Bayern boss and that could subsequently jeopardise my place at Euro 2012.

“I’m honoured that a side like Lazio have been associated and I hope there is more to it than just an interest in me.”

Olic is excited by the prospect of getting reunited with Miroslav Klose at Olimpico.

“Perhaps you are surprised by his form, but I’m not. He is a champion and it is always a pleasure to play alongside him. It’ll be nice if we could play together again.”
