J.League wrap: Kashiwa´s lead cut

Kashiwa Reysol saw their lead at the top of the J.League cut to three points on Saturday, after they were thumped 5-0 by lowly Cerezo Osaka.

Goals from Takashi Inui and Rodrigo Pimpao gave Cerezo a 2-0 lead at half-time and after the break Brazilian midfielder Martinez, Ryuji Bando and Shu Kurata completed the rout.

Vegalta Sendai moved to second when they drew 1-1 at home against Nagoya Grampus, and Gamba Osaka climbed to fifth with a 1-1 draw away to Urawa Reds after the Reds’ Genki Haraguchi cancelled Takashi Usami’s opener for Gamba.

Avispa Fukuoka posted their first win of the season when a Yusuke Tanaka goal handed them a 1-0 home win over fellow strugglers Ventforet Kofu, but Avispa remain four points adrift of their nearest rivals at the bottom of the table.

And Shimizu S-Pulse played out a 0-0 draw against the Kashima Antlers at Outsourcing Stadium.
