J.League wrap: Marinos into second

Yokohama F Marinos moved within a point of top place in the J.League after a 2-1 win over Kawasaki Frontale on Sunday.

Kazushi Kimura’s side have closed in on first-placed Kashiwa Reysol after their third-straight win, this one a come from behind victory at the Nissan Stadium.

Midfielder Kosei Shibasaki opened the scoring for the visitors on 22 minutes, but they could not manage to hold out until the interval.

Striker Masashi Oguro levelled things up eight minutes before the break before forward Kazuma Watanabe struck the winner in the 71st minute.

Elsewhere, Kohei Morita hit the winner as Sanfrecce Hiroshima recorded a 1-0 win over Omiya Ardija.

And Jubilo Iwata struck three times in the second half on their way to a 3-0 victory at home over Vissel Kobe.
