A last-minute own goal from Shusuke Tsubouchi handed Kashima Antlers a 3-3 draw at home to Omiya Ardija in the J-League on Sunday.

Visitors Omiya took the lead through South Korea international Lee Chun-Soo 12 minutes into the match at Kashima Soccer Stadium.

Midfielder Kota Ueda made it 2-0 in the 47th minute, but defender Masahiko Inoha pulled one back for hosts Kashima less than 60 seconds later.

Another defender, Daiki Iwamasa, also found the back of the net to see Kashima draw level on 57 minutes.

Parity lasted less than five minutes before forward Lee struck again for Omiya to make it 3-2.

The visitors looked to be heading for an encouraging win on the road in the opening round of the season, but unfortunate defender Tsubouchi put through his own net.

Elsewhere, a single goal from Brazilian midfielder Popo proved to be enough for Vissel Kobe to record a 1-0 win at home to Urawa Reds.

Popo struck what proved to be the winner with 16 minutes remaining at Kobe Wing Stadium.
