Jack Clarke’s loan deal at Stoke City will be terminated and the former Leeds United winger will be back at Tottenham Hotspur, according to Football Insider. It has been reported that the 20-year-old winger suffered an achilles injury that will see him stay on the sidelines for six weeks.
Clarke will return to his parent club Tottenham to undergo rehabilitation and will not play again this season. The 20-year-old joined Championship club Stoke on loan from Premier League outfit Spurs in the January transfer window. According to WhoScored, the English youngster has made six starts and eight substitute appearances in the Championship for the Potters, providing one assist in the process.
Stoke are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 52 points from 38 matches. Meanwhile, Tottenham currently find themselves sixth in the Premier League table with 48 points from 29 matches.
