Tottenham Hotspur are facing a problem in their quest to sign Jack Grealish from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the January transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The report has claimed that Tottenham are keen on a deal for the former Aston Villa star, but the England international midfielder himself does not fancy a move away from City.
GiveMesSport has also added that City, who won the Premier League title last season, are not planning to push Grealish away from the club in the middle of the season. The 29-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has made four starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season, providing one assist in the process. He has also made one start and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League for the Citizens.
City are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 11 matches, five points behind leaders Liverpool. As for Tottenham, the North London club currently find themselves 10th in the standings with 16 points from 11 games, three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
