Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will leave the North London club when his contract expires at the end of June.
The 26-year-old English international is putting an end to a decade-long stint with his boyhood club.
Wilshere made the total of 197 first-team appearances for the Gunners since 2008 but will largely remain remembered for frequent stints on the sidelines due to numerous injury problems.
Jack Wilshere has been negotiating a new deal with his club for months but has ultimately decided to leave the Emirates-based side once Unai Emery was appointed new manager. Wilshere was not given first-team assurances and has ultimately opted to leave the club.
Arsenal football club thanked Jack Wilshere for his service during the last ten years during which time the Englishmen won the FA Cup twice, in 2014 and 2015.
Highly rated English midfielder will be under no shortage of options but is likely to remain in the Premier League.
