Jackett to dip into loan market

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has said that he may add a striker on loan in the coming weeks, according to Sky Sports.

The 52 year old, who was today named the Championship manager of the month for August after winning four of their five games, was close to bringing in Chris Wood from Leicester City last month though they failed to get the deal over the line.

The loan window will remain open for clubs to make temporary additions to their squad until November, and Jackett is keen to bring in extra fire power as he looks to take the Midlands club back to the top flight after a three year absence.

Should Wolves win promotion to the Premier League, it will be the first time in English football history that a club have secured back-to-back promotions after successive relegations, and you can back them to do so at 7/2.
