Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad understands that two Spanish clubs have joined the race for Utrecht forward Jacob Mulenga.
The Zambian looks set to leave the club following yet another impressive campaign in Dutch Eredivisie, with a number of foreign clubs showing interest in his services.
While also being on the radar of several English Premier League sides, the 29-year-old has a long list of admirers in Spain.
After it was revealed Real Sociedad were keen, Rayo Vallecano and Real Valladolid seem to have joined the race as well.
Jacob Mulenga arrived at Utrecht four years ago from Chateauroux, and he didn’t need a lot of time to prove his worth in the Netherlands.
However, numerous injury problems prevented the player from fulfilling his potential, while also standing in his way of joining a top European club sooner.
After netting 14 goals in his final season at the club, the Zambia international looks ready to finally embark on a new challenge.
