Jadon Sancho signs new Borussia Dortmund deal

England youngster Jadon Sancho has officially signed a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund. The 18 year old has been able to successfully break his way into the German club’s first team picture over the last few months, and now, it seems as if he’ll be there for many more years to come. He started his development with Watford as a youngster before making the switch to Manchester City, with the move to Dortmund serving as a sign that English youngsters can make the jump abroad and still find success.

Sancho has had a gradual progression up to this point, but it appears as if he’s starting to really gain some momentum with Dortmund. While there’s a long, long way to go before he can be considered a star capable of playing for the England national team, he’s certainly someone that Gareth Southgate should be keeping his eye on over the next few years.
