Premier League title holders Chelsea are said to have joined the chase for Udinese starlet Jakub Jankto.
The Czech international has been in impressive form this season at Zebrette and his fine displays generated plenty of interest from all over the continent.
AC Milan have been the first one to be linked with a move for the talented 21-year-old but it appears that the fallen giants of the Italian football will face stiff competition from England.
Arsene Wenger is said to be a keen admirer of Jakub Jankto’s talents and would love to add him to his squad at the Emirates but Corriere dello Sport reports that Chelsea are prepared to step in the hunt as well, looking to bring in Jankto at the end of the season.
The talented midfielder is going through a purple patch at the moment having scored three goals for Udinese in last two games.
His brace helped Zebrette secure an important 3-0 win at Crotone on Monday and his fine display has not gone unnoticed by Chelsea who could be forced to splash out on big wages in order to persuade Jankto to reject the interest elsewhere.
