James Milner to leave Man City

Sunday People is reporting that Manchester City midfielder James Milner is looking to leave Etihad in the summer transfer window.

The England international is reportedly unhappy at the lack of first team opportunities and he is ready to consider his options.

Despite performing well each time he was called upon, Milner has been unable to nail down a regular starting berth under Manuel Pellegrini and it appears his patience is running out.

The 28-year-old did make a total of 31 Premier League appearances this term, but having started just 12 of those games, it is hardly surprising he is not too happy with the current situation.

Milner has spent last four years at Manchester City having joined from Aston Villa and he has managed to win two Premiership trophies with the Citizens.

In spite of the lack of playing time on club level, the experienced footballer has made Roy Hodgson’s final squad for the 2014 World Cup.
