James Rodriguez has revealed he would be ready to leave Bayern Munich if it turns out necessary for him to do so in order to get more game-time, according to AS.
The report claims James expressed his love for the club and the fans, but refused to make any promises about his future. He is clearly unhappy about not playing this season under manager Niko Kovač nearly as much as he played last season under Jupp Heynckess, and he isn’t ready to let his career go in the direction of a squad player.
The Colombian is still on a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid, but the Bundesliga champions have already fulfilled the necessary requirements to make the deal permanent, even without the consent of either Real or the player himself, should they decide to do so. However, if the situation remains as it is, they aren’t very likely to make such a decision.
Be that as it may, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge reportedly said that he’d prefer to discuss that decision in 2019.
