Jamie Vardy 4/5 to score anytime against Arsenal in Saturday’s Premier League showdown

Competition: Premier League

Market: Jamie Vardy to score anytime

Odds: 4/5 @ Bet 365

Handed the chance to leapfrog Manchester City to second spot, a high-flying Leicester will welcome Arsenal to the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.

Starting with the hosts, putting in another eye-catching display and grabbing a 2-0 win away at Crystal Palace last weekend, Leicester have continued to take the Premier League by storm. Handed the chance to once again leapfrog defending champions Manchester City to second spot, one man who has continued to shine this season is leading marksman, Jamie Vardy. Once again finding the net at Selhurst Park last weekend, the 32-year-old finds himself leading the Golden Boot race and has now found the net seven times in his last five Premier League matchups. Also bagging a brace against Arsenal when the two sides met back in April, Vardy should be confident of extending that tally this weekend.

As for the visitors, throwing away yet another lead and watching Portuguese outfit Vitoria grab a 1-1 draw on Wednesday afternoon, the pressure is really starting to mount on Head Coach Unai Emery. Failing to win any of their last four matches across all formats and many now calling on the former PSG boss to be given the boot, the Gunners have also recorded just one Premier League victory since the 22nd of April. Continuing to show some glaring issues at the back and also losing their last top-flight away matchup at a returning Sheffield United, Saturday could prove to be yet another long 90 minutes for the London strugglers.
