Sport Bild is reporting that Hamburger SV wonderkid Jann-Fiete Arp has set his sights on joining Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
With the Red Shorts set for their first ever relegation from the top flight, the talented forward has decided to reject a new contract offer at Imtech Arena.
Even though quite a few top sides are interested in his services, Arp reportedly wants to sign for Bayern Munich, while the Bavarians shouldn’t have problems agreeing a transfer fee with their league rivals.
Considering that the 17-year-old has just over a year left on his current deal, Bayern expect to pay around €8 million for his services.
The highly rated youngster has so far scored 2 goals in 17 Bundesliga appearances, while he managed 46 strikes in 52 games for the club’s U17 side.
