Hamburg youngster Jann-Fiete Arp is on the radar of quite a few top European clubs, German newspaper Bild can reveal.
The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of country’s hottest prospects and he was on fire at the Under-17 European Championship in May, bagging 6 goals in 5 matches.
As a result, the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are keeping close tabs on the talented forward, who has just over a year left on his deal.
However, in spite of the heavy interest in his services, Arp seems determined to remain at Hamburg and he is expected to sign a one-year extension in the coming days that will see his salary increased to €20,000 per month.
That is way less than he would have earned at any of aforementioned clubs, but this is likely to prove a good decision for his future seeing that Hamburg head coach Markus Gisdol plans to promote the attacker to the first team set-up.
