According to a report from Sky sources, Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Spanish side Real Betis over the potential sale of forward Vincent Janssen. The 24 year old, who won the Johan Cruyff Trophy back in 2016, has been with the North London club since 2016 – although he’s had more success out on loan with Fenerbahce than he has with Mauricio Pochettino.
The current offer on the table would see Janssen, who is a Netherlands international, move to Betis on loan with a potential option to buy. Spurs have valued the forward at £15 million, following a disappointing few seasons in which he’s failed to reach the heights that many were expecting of him.
The likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min have consistently been ahead of Vincent in the pecking order, with even Fernando Llorente putting in a better shift in recent times.
Janssen joined Spurs from AZ, where he had spent just one year following a transfer from Almere City.
