Januzaj pens new United deal

Adnan Januzaj has pledged his future to Manchester United by putting pen to paper on a new five-year deal with the club, according to the Mail Online.

The 18 year old burst on to the Premier League scene two weeks ago by scoring two goals at the Stadium of Light to turn the game on its head and help his side avoid a third straight top-flight defeat.

That performance led to extensive discussions regarding his international future, with the as yet uncapped midfielder eligible to play for several countries including Turkey, Belgium and Albania, while England were even mentioned as a potential option in the future.

At club level, Manchester City had been linked with a move, but he has ended any doubt surrounding his future by putting pen to paper at Old Trafford.

Januzaj is expected to make his first home league start against Southampton on Saturday, and is priced at 21/2 to open the scoring.
