Japan midfielder Kobayashi joins Greek club Iraklis

Greek first division club Iraklis Salonica announced Wednesday that they had signed Japanese midfielder Daigo Kobayashi from Norwegian side Stabek on an 18-month deal.

The 26-year-old Kobayashi played in one friendly international for the Japanese national team in 2006, having also been a member of the Under-20 squad from 2002-2003.

Kobayashi played for Tokyo Verdy and Omiya Ardija before leaving for Europe.
