Wolves winger Matt Jarvis has received his first international call-up for England’s Euro2012 qualifier with Wales and friendly with Ghana.
The 24-year-old has impressed in Wolves’ relegation battle in the Premier League this season and scored the winner in a crucial Midlands derby at Villa Park on Saturday.
Jarvis has been named in two provisional squads before but never made the cut, and received his opportunity in Fabio Capello’s 26-man squad after injuries ruled out Theo Walcott and Adam Johnson.
