Napoli are keeping close tabs on Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia, according to talkSPORT.
The Azzurri are set to enter the market for a new holding midfielder and the Spaniard is one of the players they are looking at.
The 26-year-old hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth in England and his first team chances have been limited following the summer arrival of Fernandinho.
While he was used in the heart of defence on several occasions, Garcia doesn’t seem to have a future at Eastlands, and he could be leaving the club in the January window.
Since arriving from Benfica, the Real Madrid graduate has made a total of 32 Premier League appearances for the Citizens, scoring 2 goals in the process.
His suitors Napoli have fallen further behind leaders Juventus after the shocking home defeat to Parma, but look a good bet at 4/11 to achieve a top 3 finish.
