French daily newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that PSG midfielder Javier Pastore was advised to leave Parc des Princes in the summer.
The highly rated footballer found himself in problems following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, especially given his poor injury record.
Since the regular playing time would be difficult to obtain, Pastore’s agents advised the 28-year-old to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
However, the Argentine decided to remain at Parc des Princes and fight for his place in the side, just like Lucas Moura.
This could prove a good decision as Pastore went on to score 2 goals in first 4 league appearances, although he is now again on the sidelines.
