The Daily Mail reported Jermaine Jenas has admitted being left in limbo over his Tottenham future during the January transfer window. Inter Milan expressed an interest in the England midfielder last month but no deal materialised.

Jenas said: ‘I was very flattered when I heard about Inter Milan. If a club like Inter take an interest in you, you will always take notice. It is good for confidence”.

“I will be honest: I did not know where I was at one point during the transfer window. But I spoke to the manager, who said he wanted me to stay, and that is where we are at the moment”.
