French giants Lyon announced on their official website that experienced defender Jeremy Morel has signed a new deal with the club.
The 33-year-old penned a one-year extension, meaning that he is now tied to the Parc OL outfit until June 2019.
Morel has proved to be a very good signing for Lyon, having joined two years ago on a free transfer from Marseille.
The full-back has since made 67 Ligue 1 appearances, operating either in the heart of defence or at left-back.
The fact that Morel spent every single minute on the pitch in the first 7 league games of the new season is enough to suggest he is still considered an important member of the squad.
