Jermaine Jenas believes that Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur or Everton.

The former Tottenham midfielder has raved about Zaha, and believes that Spurs would take him.

The BT Sport pundit has also claimed that the former Manchester United winger would improve a team like Everton.

Jenas told BT Sport: “Wilf Zaha needs to set some of his own challenges now. I think one of his biggest problems in getting out of Crystal Palace is the numbers very high to buy him.

“People are looking at it thinking ‘how many goals does he score, how many assists & is he worth spending £60 odd million on?’

“At the minute, everyone knows he’s a top player, but there’s that feeling of productivity element – I think he would [improve a top-six side] and I think he’d improve most teams.”

When asked which top-six side he would suit, Jenas said: “I think Tottenham would take him. You can also look at teams trying to get into the top-six. Everton are a team trying to get into the top-six, he would improve them.”

Moving to Tottenham Hotspur or Everton

Zaha is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League not to play for a top-six club.

The 27-year-old is at the top of his game at the moment, and he would make Tottenham or Everton stronger and more potent in attack.

Zaha has done all he can for Palace, who are an also-ran club in the Premier League and are not going to challenge for trophies or European places anytime soon, with the Eagles rated at 25/1 by Betfair for a top-six finish in the league this season.

Moving to Tottenham or Everton would be a step up for Zaha, who should seriously consider a summer exit from Palace.
