On this day (May 25th) in 2005, Liverpool pulled off arguably the most thrilling Champions League comeback ever as they cancelled out AC Milan’s 3-0 halftime lead. Goals from captain Steven Gerrard, Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso in a span of six minutes were all, of course, crucial, but this unbelievable save by Jerzy Dudek was another moment that left the spectators stunned by what they had just seen.

Would-be scorer Andriy Shevchenko obviously couldn’t believe it either.
