Jese Rodriguez’s move to Paris Saint-Germain proved to be utter failure and with the arrival of Goncalo Guedes the Spanish striker is heading towards the exit door at the French champions, only six months after his arrival.
Former Real Madrid forward is disappointed with the lack of opportunities under Unai Emery and was thought to be pushing toward a return to his homeland with Las Palmas keen to take him on.
But the Spanish club was unable to cover more than 20% of Jese’s wages for a six-month loan and the 23-year-old Spanish international has been forced to change his mind on a Premier League move.
Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has already proposed an offer to his compatriot Jese, who was at first unwilling to go through another major chance of the surroundings and head into the new league and new language.
However, the French media outlet L’Equipe claims that Jese had a change of heart and that a loan deal until the end of the season will be signed this week, with the Spaniard expected to arrive to Riverside by the end of the week.
