Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo has made it clear that he is happy to remain at Mestalla amidst reports linking him with a January move to Barcelona.
The Portuguese defender is among the players the Catalans are looking at as they plan to recruit a new right-sided defender, with Hector Bellerin, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Matteo Darmian also on their radar.
But, despite being linked with such a great club, the 22-year-old appears focused on task at hand and is adamant he is happy to remain with los Che.
“I am comfortable here, I feel good. I do not know (what) my future (will be like), I feel comfortable at Valencia,” Cancelo confessed to Marca.
Another impressive product of Benfica youth academy, Cancelo left the Eagles after making just one league appearance, but that did not prevent him from proving his worth in Spanish La Liga.
The youngster quickly managed to nail down a regular starting berth and has so far made 46 league appearances for los Che, scoring once.
