Joao Cancelo undergoes Inter Milan medical

Inter Milan are set to complete the signing of Portuguese defender Joao Cancelo from Valencia, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.

The Nerazzurri agreed a loan deal with los Che, who will in turn get Geoffrey Kondogbia, also moving to Mestalla on loan.

Joao Cancelo is currently undergoing medical examination in Milan and he will soon be officially unveiled at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

His capture can be considered a major coup for Inter Milan considering that clubs like Juventus, Barcelona and Chelsea were hot on his trail.

Joao Cancelo is expected to take over from Danilo D’Ambrosio at right-back, although he is perfectly capable of operating as a right winger as well.
