German champions Bayern Munich are considering a summer move for Inter Milan centre-back Joao Miranda, Bild has quoted Italian media as saying.
The Bavarians had to battle a serious defensive crisis in the second part of the season, as a number of important defenders were on the sidelines, and they plan to further improve their options at the back in the summer.
As a result, they are weighing up summer bid for Inter Milan stopper Joao Miranda, who is held in high regard by new Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The problem is that the Nerazzurri will only consider offers in the region of €20 million for their star player.
Joao Miranda joined Inter Milan from Atletico Madrid in the summer and he quickly established a very good partnership with Jeison Murillo.
The Brazilian went on to make 24 league outings for the Nerazzurri, scoring one goal, and he clearly did enough to catch the eye of Bayern Munich scouts.
