Jobe Bellingham turns down Tottenham Hotspur to stay at Sunderland

Jobe Bellingham has decided to stay at Sunderland despite having interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Bellingham is on the radar of Premier League clubs Spurs and Palace, but the younger brother of Real Madrid and England international midfielder Jude Bellingham wants to stay at Sunderland.

TEAMtalk has reported that Sunderland have have held talks with Bellingham and his agents and have been successful in convincing him that staying with them is the best move for his development. The report has noted that Real Madrid and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the England Under-20 international.

Bellingham has been on the books of Sunderland since 2023 and has established himself as one of the best players for the Black Cats. The teenager, who can operate as a midfielder or as a forward, scored seven goals and gave one assist in 43 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for the Black Cats last season.
