Swansea City central defender Joe Rodon prefers Tottenham Hotspur to West Ham United and Burnley, according to The Times. It has been reported that Premier League trio Tottenham, West Ham and Burnley all are keen on the 22-year-old centre-back, and that it is the North London club where the Wales international prefers to move to.
Tottenham are reported to be willing to pay £7 million as transfer fee for Rondon, but Swansea – who reached the Championship playoffs last season – want £18 million. There is still time for the two clubs to come to an agreement, as the summer transfer window for English teams is open until October 16.
According to WhoScored, Rodon has played four times in the Championship so far this season, while during the 2019-20 campaign, the 22-year-old centre-back made 20 starts and one substitute appearance in the league, providing one assist in the process.
