Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock wants to join Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. It has been reported that Arsenal have told Willock that he is free to choose where he wants to go on loan next season, and the midfielder has decided that he wants to return to Newcastle.
Willock spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle from Arsenal. The 21-year-old played a big role in the Magpies escaping the dreaded drop to the Championship. The midfielder made 11 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Steve Bruce’s side, scoring high goals in the process.
The youngster did well during his loan spell at Newcastle, and the St. James’ Park faithful love and adore him. If Arsenal are willing to send Willock out on loan this summer, then a return to the Magpies would make sense.
